The essentials

Where your data lives

Your weight entries, notes, and settings are stored locally on your device. Since there is no backend, Weightly does not collect, store, or have any access to your weight entries. Nothing you log is uploaded anywhere by Weightly.

Apple Health

Weightly can optionally connect to Apple Health. If you enable it:

Apple Health is entirely optional. Weightly works fully without it.

Optional reminders

If you enable weigh-in reminders, Weightly schedules local notifications on your iPhone for the days and time you choose. The reminder schedule stays on your device and is not uploaded to Weightly. Weightly does not use a remote notification service.

Deleting your data

You can delete individual entries, or use Settings → Delete All Data in the app to remove every entry and setting Weightly stores on your device. Uninstalling the app also removes its local data. Weight data you chose to save in Apple Health is managed separately in the Health app.

Changes to this policy

If Weightly's privacy practices ever change, this page will be updated and the date above revised. The privacy-first principle — your data stays on your device — is the foundation of the product.
